I have a 14,000 gallon pool & a T-3 cell. My last salt reading was 2900 (via Leslies), so I am trying to adjust my Aqua Rite to the correct cell reading of 2900. Thanks. Ill work on my signature.

On my Aqua Rite chlorine generator, I cannot set my salt level lower than 3900. I follow the directions to manually set the salt level and it starts at 4000, then eventually goes to 3900, but it will not go any lower. I somehow got it set to about 3700 one time, but several days later it reset...

Recently when my pool pump motor starts it sounds like it just spins in place for a couple seconds, then I hear a grinding noise for a couple seconds, then it seems to work mostly as intended. It does seem louder than usual. And I might hear it skipping (spinning in place) every once in a while...

I will take a look at that tonight. Is there anything else to look into besides running an under powered motor? If it was a voltage thing it wouldnt run more than a couple minutes before shutting down, right?

Im not at home at the moment, so I dont know my exact equipment. It is possible the previous owner had an undersized motor on the pump. I have a Hayward Super Pump II. How would I know what type of motor to put on it? Pool is 14,000 gallons. Filter is Hayward SwimClear 4 cartridge I believe.

It seems like I keep burning out my pool pump motors. Is there possibly something that is causing it, or is it just bad luck? The original one that came with the house burnt out. Im not sure how old it was. I bought a Century Motor replacement that lasted less than a year. I bought that one...

Pool store told me to try some Scale Free which removes calcium and mineral build up. Still no change at all. Come on, someones gotta have a suggestion...

Well, I tried the paper clip. I even tried putting in about 3 feet of fairly thick wire, ala pipe cleaner. And it did fix it at all. Its still exactly the same. Any other ideas?

New user, first post here. I'm a fairly new pool owner....I bought the house w/ pool about a year ago. Recently the built-in water feature nozzles have not all been flowing correctly. I have a feature with about 30 holes that the water sprays out of. It seems like each hole is getting different...
