I am a single woman managing the upkeep on my home, yard and pool. Attempting to manage anyway. I have hired pros to assist when I've found myself "overmyhead". I recently took over the pool maintenence, again, after becoming dissatisfied with the pool service I was using. I've taken care of it before,probably not great care but swimable, not green, not yellow, ph ok and chlorine measurable. this is the second time I've been disenchanted with a pool service's recommendations, products, practices and prices! They pour in bottles of stuff they tell me I need and I still have to clean the pool and the filters myself! So, here I am again, telling myself "You can do this!". I purchased a TF100 test kit and i'm studying the articles in Pool School and pulling out all my original pool equipment information.

pool was built 2002, 15,277 gal in-ground gunite pool and spa, rectangle shaped, with Infinity 2000 auto cover, Clean & Clear Plus 420 cartridge filter, Larrs LX heater, Pentair Whisperflo High Performance 2 HP pump, and Pentair Legend II pressure side cleaner. Also, have an Aqualink RS4 pool/spa control. Whew! And that's all I know right now!
I am now testing with the TF-100 test kit.
