Sorry for the late reply, just tried few more things today and will post an update soon. For your question I would say the water is around 50-60%

Before a certain point, I can clearly see debris and small leaves move into the skimmer at a fairly fast pace. Now the debris are just moving past one of the skimmers and the other one catch the closest ones but not doing an efficient job to keep the pool surface clean.

That's a good point, I probably would have just reached with the pump off if not for your reminder.
