I am the owner of a 38, 000 gallon in ground pool with a vinyl liner which is certainly not brand new. I'm using chlorine for now, though I would be interested in converting to salt or hydrogen peroxide system at a later time. It is filtered by a Hayword Swimclear cartridge filter with Hayward Pump
