Replaced spa light - rust powder stain

Recently ended up replacing a spa light bulb, as soon as I unscrewed the light case from the wall, there flew out a bulk of dark rusty stuff from the hole. I ended up scrubbing it off with brush, which clears up the stain, but as soon as I run the pump/add chlorine, stain comes back. It's the...

    Broken Pool tile

Thanks. I wasn't sure what it was called.:cautious: I did use something few years back to patch up another piece that broke off. Couldn't remember what product I used. Sounds like it was some kind of mortar. I might look for left over in my garage.

    Broken Pool tile

Some of my pool tiles are cracked/chipped and coming off from the top. How do I glue it back? Is caulking good enough or should I get something else?

Iron nail stain in gunite pool

That WORKED. The stains are gone now. Thank you so much :) :) :) Now how do I remove the rust stains dissolved in the water? I read it might come back if left untreated in the water and filter won't catch it. I have the pump running now and poured half bottle liquid chlorine as well. Should I...

Iron nail stain in gunite pool

After a closer look, it did come off a bit using Vitamin C, but not fully yet. Only if I could stay under water and rub it in using my hand vigoroulsy. I will try the sanding method this afternoon once it gets little warmer. I can't get the sponge go down using a stick. Need to get under the...

Hayward 6060 booster pump case cracked

How easy is it to replace the volute on the booster pump?My casing cracked and water leaks through it when running. Other than that, the motor is fully functional. I have the replacement volute and O ring. Not sure if its an easy job(simply unscrew, remove broke volute and replace) or it's more...

Iron nail stain in gunite pool

Tried that too, still not effective. I am using 500mg tablets. Will 1000mg make a difference?

Iron nail stain in gunite pool

You are right, its 3 feet deep in the water and not coming off fully. I can't rub it in by hand, maybe that would be more efficient I guess.
