I posted a while back about my problem with my sand getting in the pool i have chacked my laterals and they are not cracked. I used zeo sand zeolite filter media last. What should i go with to stop this from happening? On my last post someone suggested quikrete sand? Is this a larger grain sand...

The sand filter and pump i bought last year and put the laterals down slowly put the sand in by hand have had this issue since. When i asked the pool store they said it could be the finer particulates passing and should stop. But I will keep an eye on it more now because i got it late last year...

I am having issues with sand getting into the pool from my filter, is there anything i can attach to the return jet that captures the sand?I have seen something called the slimbag and was curious if there has been anyone using it. Thanks in advance!

The bigger pump (SF60110) is the cord that I hit. The smaller pump 635t is the pump with the good cord I will use . Sorry for the confusion I just wanted to double check before I caused any more damage haha

Thanks for the reply so the smaller pump is actually drawing more than the larger? My picture of the pumps show 6 amps for the large pump and 2.1 amps for the small pump?

This is what the actual pump says, the top picture is of the smaller pump the bottom is of the bigger pump.
