Just to follow up on this thread, i called circupool and the guy i talked to acted like this was almost a non-issue. He said he'd installed his unit as i had, cell barrel unions directly into the 90 degree elbows. The hard copy manual i got with the unit also said this was fine. Not sure what...

Is there any point to the Circupool "Vector Jet?" I have it installed in my pool, but i am not crazy about it, as it throws off the water circulation which used to spin the water around to the skimmer.

OK, got it. Good to know. Thanks guys. I guess i thought the high salt light was related since it had never been on since i installed it a couple weeks ago, and the results of my last strip test was 3600 (manf recommends 3500). The light isn't on now. May just be a correlation/causation...

Pool School says to put CYA in a sock and then put the sock in the skimmer to dissolve. I did this and later realized in the owner's manual for my Circupool RJ45 it specifically says "DO NOT" add chemicals via skimmer (emphasis theirs). In addition, i noticed a couple times while the CYA was...

I have a circupool rj45. I installed it myself. I have called them twice...once to order the unit, and once with a couple of questions. I talked to a real person quickly, and they were knowledgeable. I can't speak to the unit's long term reliability. I still have to dial in the percentage...

TFP Team: Just a quick update on this issue. I installed the T106M unit in my existing box today. I wired everything up per Ohm's schematic. Everything works perfect now. No noise from the pump on either speed, the SWG works perfectly regardless if the pump is running in high or low speed...

Hey Jason...I just hit submit on an order for the T106M assembly was about 80 bucks. Seems like the right way to do this. I really, really appreciate everyone's help with this. I don't know what i would do without this board. I will almost definitely need help getting everything wired...

I will purchase the T106M unit. I may need some help wiring it up. I assume i should then wire the SWG to the remaining existing switch which sounds like it will eventually control if the pump is on or off. Is this assumption correct?

It appears maybe i can buy a T106M mechanism and install it into my existing box: T106M Thoughts?

Jason, thanks for your help. If you watch the video the noise should be pretty apparent. It isn't happening in the video until i turn off the right manual switch in the timer. The noise starts five seconds into the video. It stops again at 18 secs when i turn the swg off at the swg control...

Everything is 240. The timer is an Intermatic T10404R. I confirmed 240 with a meter when i was installing the SWG. The power feed is in the center the pump on the left, SWG on the right.. Here is a link for the timer door label, if you need a picture of the inside door instead, please let me...
