New liner with several issues (white marks) and what appears to be a slit above the water line

That is what I’m thinking, especially all the chemicals and water. I paid full price I should get a pristine liner. My last liner was still holding water just fine (but faded from SC sun) after 12 years and I expect to get at least that amount of time out of a new liner.

New liner with several issues (white marks) and what appears to be a slit above the water line

Hi, So we just had the liner installed (fill up finished yesterday). I get into the pool this afternoon and noticed there is some dirt from the installation of the liner, so I just begin wiping it with my hand, and I decide to go all around the pool and do this. We chose a dark colored liner...

*Shallow end, being shocked when grabbing railing*

We had a similar issue. I paid two electricians who found nothing, had 2 more ground rods added, one at the pump and yet another at the main in the garage. Still no change. Ours would vary in voltage and the power co guys thought I was nuts until I said take off your shoes and hold that...

Pentair IC40 - Lights for 3 seconds then nothing

I have an IC 40 as well and when you hold down the "less" button it shows you what % of the cell has been used so you are probably at the end of your cell life. I've had mine for 4 years as well and it was acting strange (not like yours though, it couldn't seem to decide if there was enough...

Feeling a shock when touching ground

So I had unhooked my pretty pool light for the past couple years and the other day I was contemplating a new pump, upgrading, etc and this whole light issue just got me crazy every time I talked about it. Now I have had countless electricians out here and no one could find this problem. I shut...

Polaris 3900 sport, Seems sluggish out of the box..

Indeed, I believe you are right. Less than 2 hours later the pool is spotless. My 380 never accomplished that in that amount of time, more like 3 - 4 hours if I was lucky.

Polaris 3900 sport, Seems sluggish out of the box..

Ok so my Polaris 380 case cracked and I mentioned it to my mom, who very generously sent me the 3900. I hooked it up and made all the adjustments it said to in the instructions (except cutting the cord yet). The sweeper hose with the new guard that doesn't let it fly wildly out of the water is...

Considering intermatic Multi Wave, anyone have any feedback?

Re: Considering intermatic Multi Wave, anyone have any feedb Thanks Scott, Unfortunately I've not found anyone that seems interested in installing it. I ended up just going with the regular manual intermatic timer for now til I decide what else I would want to go with, or find someone willing...

Considering intermatic Multi Wave, anyone have any feedback?

I am looking to get a bit more automation but I'm not looking to break the bank. The Multi Wave sounds too good to be true for the price. I'm looking at the 5 circuit model. I wondered if anyone has this and can provide feedback. If not I may just stick to the timer we already have. I also...

    CYA Level (SWG pool only)

I will be adding more today as well. Had been thinking about this and I would really prefer to get the longest life of out my cell. But that isn't going to happen at 40. No wonder I've been running at 60%. Glad I took the time to read the recommended levels on here. :)
