I have an intex agp with a large intex pump/ sand filter. I have put the pump in the shed for the winter I'm wondering if the sand filter will be ok left out all winter??? All equipment has been drained of water. Many thanks.

yea man I'm definitely not an expert and there are people on here who are. just saying my experiences. I have 4 kids every time they go in it's mental and I loose about a ft of water and like I said mine has overflowed many time and I have had absolutely no issues. however this doesn't make it...

I have the same pool it overflows with rain water all the time no problems so far. sometimes it overflows when I forget about the hose when I'm filling it [emoji87]

I'm reluctant to run it till I sort it.

I have put my intex sand filter together no problems there my question is i cant seem to see a bleed for the air my old cartridge filter had one on the top?? there is one on the strainer on the front of the pump but not one on the filter part that holds the sand does it not need one??? do I just...

I feel crazy even asking. I have just received delivery of a intex 2800gph sand filter and pump. I live in the uk and as im sure you know it rains alot my question is the pump waterproof. obviously not the plug that is all sorted but the actual pump and filter it's self. many thanks Nathan

I have bought a intex sand filter for my 12ft pool and I'm led to belive it needs a adaptor. is there any benifit of the two different adaptors is one better than the other???. many thanks Nathan

my local sand and gravel pit sell this sand is it the right stuff??? I thought it was worth a look as it's a lot cheaper than online. thanks Nathan

thanks ikorodu that helps alot. I know it's a lot of filters more than usual this year. I have cleaned them before but they never seem to come up that great. where my outside tap once was there is now a consevatory so at the moment i have to run the hose out my kitchen which make cleaning them...

would I still need those same adapters or would they be bigger for the larger pump?? yes the hoses push straight onto the pipes coming out of the pool and they have a plastic type hose clip on the pool and the pump end

ok seems like the big one is a winner. I'm sure this a very subjective question but how often on avarage should I run the pump?? I was leaving my little one on more or less 24hrs I have been through 6 filters this season so far. I have 4 kids and they always have mates round. thanks again
