Well the subject line about explains it. one of the holes where the jets fit in has something wrong with it as I have even tried swapping out the jets. any suggestions are welcome because it only takes about 2 or 3 cycles before it pops out. Thanks

Hello, I need help backwashing a purex triton II filter. Where there should be a valve to change the water flow there is a weird handle type thing. How do I use this?

Update FC: 13.5 CYA 55-65, could the addition of all the chlorine change it?? i tried the test a couple of times. pH 7.5 - 7.8 will add some acid tonight. So now I just monitor levels, and add chlorine per CYA/chlorine chart to maintain adequate FC levels....right?

Thanks, I am assuming it is still 70-80 unless adding 27 gallons of chlorine can change it, haha. As for clarity I have a crystal clear blue sparkly pool, just residual dirt from multiple dust storms. I am sweeping the dirt to the main drains for elimination. the polaris only works so well.

yes, but that doesnt really answer my question. using liquid chlorine is going to take a lot and get expensive fast. 2 gallons is $7, I will be using at least 1 to 1.5 gallons a day or more to maintain 8-9ppm FC. thats $100+ a month, just chlorine. not including acid and electricity to run the...
