Just opened pool. PH is 8.3 and TA is 23. Normally if one is high so is the other so I'm kind of lost on how to get them where they need to be. Any suggestions?? Thanks in advance!!

Well finally got my new liner put in today!! Will be swimming by the weekend!

We have a 16' x 32' pool with a 6-1/2' deep end. I have 8- 2' x 20' panels on my garage roof. I can raise my water temp from 64 degrees to 86 in two days. Of course those would be sunny days! They work very well and would recommend them to everyone.

Had a bad thunder storm come through yesterday. Took my glass top patio table and smashed it all over my deck and in my pool. Glass everywhere!! $3600 just to replace the liner. Not a good experience. Anyone else ever have this happen?? --- I am here: http://tapatalk.com/map.php?lhbyio

Goto your electric box and see if there is a breaker labeled pool pump or filter. If the breaker is a single breaker the pump is 120v. If it is a double breaker it is 240v. I would assume because the wires are red and black that it is 240v. Which would mean you want to but one wire on the high...

I noticed the manufacturer has a warning for vinyll liners. Has anyone had a problem with thier liner being caught in the cleaner or any other issue? I have a spot on the bottom of my shallow end where the liner is creased. There are 4 or 5 creases about a foot and a half long. Are these going...

Ok I can live with that but why has my pool been cloudy for 2 and a half weeks? I figured it was do to the high TA since everything else is fine. Since I've been treating the TA the pool has gotten clearer, slowly but it is clearing up. Thanks again!

Ok this is what happen today. Tested my pool this moring around 6 am EST. Here are the results.. Chl- above 10 PH- 7.0 TA- 121 I added nothing to the water in the morning. Restested at 6 pm EST and got these results.. Chl- 3.74 Ph- 7.5 TA- 154 The pool aerated all day and had no solar cover on...

This is all just weird because I've never had this problem before. Just this year I have good readings on all my test except TA and my pool is cloudy. My testing equipment has worked fine and I've checked it with another tester. I'm stumped. Thanks for the continued suggestions.

I replaced half the water when the alk. was close to 200.

I've had my test kit for two years it's a Color Q Pro 7. It's a digital reading that's why it's in increments of 1. I tested again this morning wipeing the rip of the bottle off and got a reading of 121. I will see what it reads this afternoon when I test it again. My pool is starting to clear...
