Still no progress despite shocking. It has been difficult keeping the FC up during the work day when not home. Don't know if this short lack of shock level chlorine will prolong the process or not. Going to do the overnight test tonight. Shock level for CYA of 40 is 16.

I did use the polyquat 60. I am 8 days into the AA treatment. I've held chlorine since day 4, meaning I got all of the acid out. I have not added any polyquat 60 since I've had the chlorine holding.
