It is not plaster. It is a concrete product with colored aggregate. Sorry for the confusion.

If I don't need it, how do I get the air into the system?

Now I'm more confused than ever. The image shows a blower attached to the hartford loop. I thought the whole point of the loop was to allow air into the system without the need for a blower. Is this not the case?

During construction I saw two "loops" of PVC pipe around the spa. (installed by the contractor prior to pouring the shell)
