    Pool Wall / Liner Help

Thanks, Casey! I was very nervous but glad to hear it sounds pretty common. I just found it odd that I only recently noticed them and my pool was installed late last summer.

    Pool Wall / Liner Help

Hi all, I recently purchased a 12X20 oval pool and had a professional company install it for me last summer 2 feet below ground. I noticed this year that I can see the imprint of bolts on 2 of the wall joints on each side of the skimmer. There are no punctures in the liner yet but I am nervous...

Air Pillow Deflating (1st time pool closing for me)

Hi all, I closed my pool about a month ago using a pretty large air pillow. It is now about halfway deflated and no longer in the middle of the pool but pushed against the side of the pool. Is this common? Is the solution to open the cover and pump the pillow back up or are there better...

First time Winterizing -- Freeze zone

To clarify, I have a skimmer plate that is covering the skimmer and a plug for the return. Lower than expected CYA (and FC) -- Newbie

Thanks, guys! Very helpful advice. I really appreciate it. I added 14 oz of 8.15% bleach to hopefully get to 2 FC. Is this something I will need to do daily for now until I get everything else squared away?

Lower than expected CYA (and FC) -- Newbie

Thank you for the detailed and quick response! All it says on the bottle is "Active ingredient Cyanuric Acid" My Salt level is about 2710 ppm. Based on the ChlorEase cell this is low. It should be 3200-3700. Can low salt lead to poor FC generation? I was thinking of adding more but the unit...

Lower than expected CYA (and FC) -- Newbie

Hi all, I am new to pool ownership and have done a lot of reading on this site. Its fantastic! I purchased the TF-100 kit and tested my FC at .5 for two weeks now. I understand that low CYA can cause FC to burn off quick by the sun and that ideal levels at 60-80 ppm for a saltwater pool...
