    Having trouble getting my TA down. Lowered PH to 7 turn inlet up to airiate PH rose to 7.6 overnight. TA went from 150 to 125. So, if I keep repeating this process, until I get my TA down To proper range. Will my PH stop drifting up so much?

    How long is the shelf life of the reagents? I thought that was the reason for the .75 oz. bottle. They have one year expiration date.

    Diffuser in DE Filter

    While replacing a check valve I noticed a gap between the filter wall and the diffuser. Shouldn't it fit tight against wall, it looks like it was glued from the factory?

    DPD test, Is it Desolved?

    I've been using the K-2006 kit for a couple years now. During my DPD test I've let the sample sit a few minutes, and notice the pink tint returns. Is this due to the FAS-DPD evaporating or the powder is not fully desolved?

    Need a pump guru

    I have no leaks in the pluming, good flow from both skimmer and bottom drain, and a good seal on basket lid. Pump itself is dry and sounds perfect. Still can't keep prime in pump basket. Water level is between impeller opening and lid. Any suggestions?

    Thanks Richard, I will pick up stabilizer today, the acid is 31.45% and bleach 8.25%. I'll keep reading pool school and follow pool math as directed.

    Thanks, So by adding stabilizer this will help my PH and TA also? Should I keep it adding acid? I thought once PH was balanced you worked on other levels.

    OK I understand Cyanuric Acid needs to be added....so where do I get it, is it something at the pool store or does it come in another form.
