Or does it even matter if the TA is 140 or even 200 as long as your PH is right.

I have a question about lowering TA i have never had to do this before. Not really sure what made it go up it usually stays around 100. I don't understand does aerating the pool lower the TA. Or is there a chemical that will lower it. I know the calculator says to lower the PH with muratic acid...

Got about half way finished or maybe a little more on a 40 x 48 deck for a 30' pool hope to finish it by Monday. Only problem is when i started filling up the pool the liner had a hole in it so they going to have to come Tuesday and put another liner in it. Probably gonna have deck finished...
