    Jandy Freeze Protect Cycle Spa/Pool

Thanks for the replies so far. HermanTX, I have a Paramount IG cleaner (which has its own pump), so I figure I’d keep that water flowing during freeze protect as well. Good call on the tarp. I put one over the equipment and pipes, held on with bungee cords. So I’ve raised the freeze protect...

    Jandy Freeze Protect Cycle Spa/Pool

It looks like that the Houston area will get a rare arctic blast in a couple of days (highs in the 20s, lows in the teens). I have a Jandy RS-8, and currently have the Filter, Cleaner, and Waterfall pumps scheduled to turn on when the freeze protection cycle kicks on. In our last pool, we...

    CYA increasing on its own?

Good idea on the CYA test, Mdragger88. I never thought of pouring the solution in the test tube back into the squirt bottle! The CYA test is my nemesis too.

    Iaqualink down

Tried logging in and out, same issue. UPDATE: Finally heard back from iAqualink customer service, and they had me restart the equipment at the panel. It WORKED! Good ol’ CTL-ALT-DEL should be one of the first steps in any IT issue...

    Iaqualink down

It’s the web interface through the phone app. It‘s happening even when I try to access my pool through iAqualink.com

    Iaqualink down

Looks like it's happening again. I'm able to log in via iAqualink, but gets stuck on the "Waiting for Connection" screen. It worked fine this morning, but has been down all day. (It figures that I wanted to change my schedule runtime. Today. LOL) Anyone else having issues? I tried to call the...

    Ceramic tile question

It's great to see all of the replies so far! We really do have a great community here at TFP... The notched area in the spa is for the "power seat" - basically a seat with more jets. The area where the rocks are was formed as notches in the gunite stage. I didn't even realize it was a...

    Ceramic tile question

Thanks for the replies so far! My sig has been added... More pics to follow. One of the things I was concerned about was the stacked stone veneer being at the waterline. Has anyone had any issues (good or bad)?

    Ceramic tile question

Greetings, all! We are about halfway finished with our pool build and came upon a possible issue. I was under the impression that it would be best for ceramic tile to encompass the whole waterline of the pool, but the tile guys just finished and it looks like I have ceramic tile, rock, and...

    Hello!!

First time pool owner, looking forward to getting on the correct path of pool care from the get-go. I've been doing a LOT of reading (it's a little overwhelming), but it's a little too late to turn back now since the gunite has been sprayed!! LOL
