I recently installed a stenner pump with a 15 gallon drum from uline, as seen here. Did anyone install any type of breather value or something to let the drum breathe/vent? Nothing big just like a tiny hole on the upper side or something.

Got the replacement pump and I got the same results. I tested the line 1 and ground and got 123v, same with line 2 and ground. Then I tried line 1 + line 2 and got 243v. Everything is connected and getting power. I did a continuity test on the panel to make sure the wires are good and they all...

Yes, it also runs the spa which has an overflow waterfall into the pool. We have a separate pump for the waterfalls. Currently we run the pump for 13 hours a day. But VS would come in handy as you mentioned at keeping junk out of the pool.

We just recently purchased purchased our house and the pool pump is leaking already. Before we purchased it the motor on the pool pump was going out so the seller replaced it. I'm not sure if the motor they replaced it with was new or used but it looks fairly new. The new motor is kind of noisy...

Not much history since I just moved in. The pool is plaster and there are a lot of leaves that we have already picked up. I went to leslies and the tests are pretty good. I think it may be organic since its mostly on the steps and then near the drains at the bottom where the pump sucks the water...

Re: Pool pump replacement, what HP Yeah and the falls are for show only, so they will not run most of the time. And the falls do have their own motor. Now maybe a good solution would be to remove that motor and have the main pump push the falls as well??
