Will shocking give the same result?

Very little chlorine was added over the winter due to the fact the the water was well below 60*. The pool was still filtered on a daily basis. All was fine till about a week ago when I noticed it was slightly cloudy.

Everything was fine until a few days ago.

My pool was slightly cloudy so I shocked it Thursday night with 2 gallons of 10% chlorine. Yesterday morning the chlorine levels were approx 25 ppm, this morning 0 ppm. Pool is clear but what happened. Thanks (10500 gallons)

I replaced my graphics card and the new one is hooked to the monitor via HDMI. The speakers on the monitor work but I can't get sound from the rear jacks for the other speakers. Any suggestions? Thanks

A good friend of mine (Fawn 24 yrs old) has been sick for the past 2 weeks. She was admitted to the hospital yesterday for testing with her battle with anemia. I know none of you know her but we could really use your support. Thanks

Yes, they are both listed and it says they are working properly.

PC is a HP, windows XP 62 bit. Yes it is 2 differant drives.

I cannot get my dvd player or cd player to work on my computer. They have power. When I insert a disc nothing happens. Any suggestions would be most helpful. Thanks

My hot tub is small (250 gallons). I keep the temp @ 102*. Cost is a maximum of $6.00 / month. I have a timer on it that only allows it to heat during off peak hours. (9:00 pm - 9:00am).
