PB said not to even worry about CYA for the first year but I've occasionally tested and it is in the recommended range or even low at times.

All chlorine levels are low. And acid is applied and pump ran 3+hrs before we get in. Not even wearing swimsuit when pouring acid. Frustrating.

Chlorine levels are low. I have automatic feeder. Barely registering .5. All other levels are within normal range. New pool with new quartz plaster so having to adjust pH frequently with acid but waiting 3+ hrs with pump running before getting into water.

Wetedge Luna Quartz plaster was applied Monday. They acid washed it and then immediately began to fill it with water. It took about 36 hrs to fill the pool. Wednesday PB came by and started up pump and added whatever chemicals were needed. He noticed these black spots. They are luckily confined...

We are not doing a salt water pool.
