I tried putting DE yesterday a few times. I put the DE in, gave it 2 minutes, and the pressure went up by 1. I brushed the walls and let it run for about 1.5 hours and the pressure went up by about 6 or 7 from the "normal" rate. Does this seem right? I did this a few times, then let it run...

added DE to the filter.. raised it by 1-2psi. I scrubbed the pool and it raised it by about 8 psi after 3 hours. I backwashed and redid the DE addition. does this sound about right? seems like a fast PSI raise..
