    Dave, Pressure gauage runs at 18 after backwash and rinse and I backwash at 22, it has been every other day or so.

    Dave, the pool color is a cloudy blue. I can see the bottom of the pool in the shallow end and can see the brush moving on the deep end but still hard to see the bottom otherwise. Running the sand filter pretty much all the time and we are adding 2 cups DE every other day when we do a backwash...

    Quick Update: Test kit should be here Wed, will post results when it arrives. Using simple kit for now and PH=7.5 and chlorine is still burnt orange. Using DE in sand filter per instructions, replacing DE when backwashing. Can see the bottom of the pool so it is going slow but it is going. Looks...

    Yeh, won't make that mistake again. So do I just continue to keep chlorine at shock level and ph at 7.5 and run the filter till it clears?

    OK the brand name is SeaKlear Natural Clarifier. Recommended dosage is 1 oz per 10,000 gal. and 2 oz per 10,000 gal if necessary. So I treated a 640,000 gal pool instead of 30,000 gal. pool. Oh vey.
