Anyone know what the bearing is for this Jacuzzi pump motor?

I have a 10+ year old CompuPool SWG and mine started to make a loud buzzing sound. I took it apart expecting I'd have to replace the transformer, but it was just loose screws. The screws holding the transformer had backed out a bit and allowed it to vibrate.

He does not have a test kit nor interested in using one - he relies on the pool store. I just thought I'd test once with my kit to see if anything major was off.

I have measured 4-5 psi up at the panels at the lower header. Talking to a rep at the company, I was told the lower the pressure, the longer life I can expect. But back to the question.... will a return loop lower pressure enough to make it worth plumbing?
