So there’s sand in my pool and I’m about to replace the pipes inside the filter. My pool has been green for days. I’ve added 12 gallons of liquid chlorine and 2 bags of shock when that didn’t work. Usually a couple gallons clears it up. I’m wondering if I don’t have a lot of sand in my filter...

My pool is doing ok but isn't crystal clear. More of a cloudy blue. Has been like this for 3 or 4 days. When will it clear up completely?

Is it safe to swim with fc levels high or should I let them come down so they can swim?

My pool is looking better just cloudy blue. I'm about to go camping for 4 days but not too far away. Should I add several gallons of chlorine and tablets or something else? And, my 4year old wants to know when she can swim again.

How long does it take to at least get cloudy? I started last night and here are my numbers: 9:30pm 24, 10:30 21, 6:30 am 15 so I added. But no change in the water color yet. Still dark green.

I need to get my FC level to 20. Using the pool math it says I need to 5.5 gallons of 10% chlorine. That just doesn't sound like much chlorine. How many jugs should I go buy?

Just did the cya test again by filling it to each line and holding at my waist and glancing at it the dot went away at 50 this time. What should I do next?

Also want to add that a about 2 weeks ago we took a sample to The pool store and they said the cya was 0 and we added 4lbs of Leslie's conditioner. It's a little frustrating but I'm going to check the levels again tonight.

Also want to add that we got a lot of rain yesterday. Don't know if that changes the cya
