Lord knows I was battling my pool the beginning of the summer. Thanks to this forum and the guys that helped me out, my pool has been nice and clear! All I use is Bleach and Fiber Clear.

Or use Fiber Clear for the filter. Traps a lot more particles than DE does, washes off easier than DE, and is SAFE!

As some have said, Walmart. $700 is no where near a deal for that pool. Sams club even has a 18ft for under $400.

The pool looks great and I have not had any more issues. All of my levels are great except for my CYA which is pretty low but it's not a big deal to me. I just add a little extra bleach each evening and it gets the water through the next day. The Fiber Clear is keeping the water sparkling clear...

Both of those look fairly similar. I dont see anymore in the water right now. If they appear again in the next day or so, I will try and look at one more closely. I bring my FC to 5 every night. This morning my FC was still 5 and my CC was 0.

Well, the pool has finally recovered from it's illness :party: Not 100% clear yet, but in a couple more days of using the Fiber Clear it should be nice and sparkly :whoot:

Hey Tresmer, I would recommend you pick up some Fiber Clear from Leslie's ($13.49 sale right now) as well. This stuff really helps to filter out all the small stuff the intex filters can't. I have only been using it for a day now and the results are amazing. Good luck with your pool!

The 30 mark sits maybe 2-3mm from the top. How would I tell if it's 20?

oops, don't know how I left that out. I edited my post. My FC is still sitting at 5 this morning and the water is looking amazing. That fiber clear works great!
