New liner installed today... going down to 52 tonight and cloudy tomorrow. Should I keep filing it overnight? (also pictures)

I was worried about that too, but from what I understand liners are cut based on the expected temperature when they are installed. "Cold cut" liners are cut bigger because they stretch less in colder weather, so this liner probably won't stretch as much as a liner installed in warmer months...

New liner installed today... going down to 52 tonight and cloudy tomorrow. Should I keep filing it overnight? (also pictures)

Like the title says, I got a new liner installed today. I had a leak over the winter so the pool store moved me up from end of April. It's 65 and sunny. I have about 2' of water in the deep end. I did the 5-gallon bucket test and I determined it should take about 55 hours to fill up. The...

    Urgent help needed!

For anyone with the same issues, the salt on the cover did not work. It was not able to keep up with the snow and the snow just accumulated on top of the salt. I went out four times and reapplied and it had very little effect. Cover survived even though my water level was low. Now it's even...

    Urgent help needed!

Thanks for the responses. I did go out and use the Gorilla tape to patch the rips in the liner. Not sure how well it will hold and I know that if I try to fill it up, it won't be able to hold the weight of the water so I'm just leaving it as is. I did it more to prevent water from getting...

    Urgent help needed!

I have vinyl liner that is getting replaced in the spring. It has a fairly substantial leak. For example, about two weeks ago, we were expecting snow. I have a mesh safety cover and I read that you should keep the water within 12" of the deck so that snow will not overly stress the cover. I...

Vinyl pool is leaking over winter... getting a new liner in the spring... should I keep water in it?

At the end of the season before last, I got a small tear in my liner. I thought I fixed it with a patch, but when I opened this past spring, my pool had mostly drained. There was about an inch of water in the shallow end. The deep end is 8 feet when full. I could see rings around the deep...

Opened pool to Crystal Clear Water... but test shows no CYA after fighting high CYA last pool season

I used to have this happen every year... I would open my pool and CYA would be 0. No one could ever explain it but people told me it happens sometimes. Just use pucks initially to up your stabilizer numbers.

Pool drained over the winter... filling it back up and my liner is stretching... will it make it?

The patch is in the deep end so it's no where near the top which is where the stretching is needed. I am in South Jersey, so warm for us right now will be 70s as well. It's really annoying because we have a seemingly never-ending cold spell right now, even for NJ. Temps for the next two weeks...
