I will have to try that next time. They did advice me to not backwash for a minimum of 1 week though.

How do you guys use stabilizer? I have an above ground and they always tell me to pour it slowly into the skimmer.

When I started vacuum, the pump started making a noise, kinda like when you slowly pour stabilizer in the skimmer you can hear it in the pump.

I started my pump and filter for the first time and it was throwing sand in the pool. It did this the first start up last year too and never again the remainder of the year. Anyways, as I was vaccuming, the pump started making a strange noise and now it won't start back up. Any ideas?

I will have to look at the manual to see how to wire this up and where. Thanks for the info. That is exactly what I am looking for by the way. My thermostat is not digital. It is just a turn knob so I have to idea where to set it. That will have to be a trial and error thing I guess.

I just hooked up a heater for our pool. The problem is, if I want to run the heater, I have to walk all the way around the pool to the far side of our deck to turn it on. I want to run something to the edge of the deck so I don't have to run all the way around, something a little more convenient.

I have a h200 hayward heater. I have tried to research a remote thermostat to buy. I am coming up empty handed as to where to buy these. Can someone throw me some ideas for this? Thanks :goodjob:

I opened my 24' above ground yesterday. Not by choice though. The cover kept falling off over winter so the last time it did, I left it. Water temp is 50. With a few really warm days ahead, I hope to get the temp up to 60 and maybe turn the heater on then hahah.

Just seen on pg 13 paragraph 4in the manual, it says heat sinks, firemans switches and check valves are not necessary on H-series heaters.
