    Still can't get it right

    I was getting really high CYA levels and I replaced at least 1/2 of my pool's water with new. I let that circulate for 24 hours and here are the new results pH 7.2 FC 4 CC 0 CH 250 TA 150 CYA 70

    Replacing water

    Thank you for the prompt response and I have no idea about the type of draining system(s) I have. I bought the house in March. I will retest CYA using diluted method now.

    Replacing water

    May be a stupid question, but can I use the pool's pump to drain the water? My CYA levels are 100 and pool math suggested a 60% replacement. I'm a new pool owner and I've never done this before. Thanks

    Help!

    Here are the numbers I just did: FC 8 CC 0 CYA 90-100 (multiple tests in between that using dilutional and non dilutional methods) CH 250 TA 30 I do have 25lbs of 100% bicarb if that is any form of the solution and approx 1lb of Borax
