I added about 6 inches of water last night to the pool, so that probably effected my numbers. There is still some green around the edges of the pool, so I am going to brush and shock it to 13 today. Will test again tonight and tomorrow for FC loss.

You mean elevate FC to 20 ? Or 4-6 ? I am already at 13.

It looks clear but not sparkling clean. It needs another vacuuming and skimming. We have had thunderstorms here and I get some pine tree droppings. I really thought the FC would drop overnight.

I vacuumed alot of it out to the filter and then cleaned the cartridge. I added about 2 gallons of bleach and tested a few hours later. FC at 13. Tested again this morning and still 13. I'll test it everyday.

I could also keep FC in the 2-4 range and use bleach for the rest of the season, given my low CYA. Probably wouldn't need too many jugs per week to keep that level.

Hi everyone. I am new to the forum and have just ordered a T-100 test kit. Right now I am using a combination of trichlor pucks and liquid bleach. I have a small amount of green around the edges of the pool floor. Once I get my test kit I will post results.
