Small cracks between Coping and Tile

My inground pool is approaching it's 5th year since construction. I've noticed some hairline gaps in the mortar between the top of the tile and the underside of the coping in a number of areas. Is this normal and if so, what's the best approach for correcting it? I'm assuming that this would be...

    Plugging a saddle clamp hole

Yes, it is. I can completely remove the clamp. Good idea on the coupling. Thanks! I'm surprised there isn't a rubber/pvc plug/gasket though..... This will be the next best thing.

    Plugging a saddle clamp hole

I'm removing an old sensor that is no longer needed. It will leave a 9/16" hole. Is there any sort of plug available? I'd rather not cut and couple the 2" PVC in this spot. Thanks!

Waterway Oasis and Hayward VS 950 - Wiring Question

Finally figured all this out using the relays. The documentation for the Hayward VS 950 is inaccurate, so using a combination of relays and timer speed settings, instead of regular speed settings worked. Not as a VS pump, but as a two speed pump, which is fine for my needs. Thanks all for the...

Waterway Oasis and Hayward VS 950 - Wiring Question

I spent some time attempting this. I'm having the same issue. According to Hayward documentation, based on the drive comm version, there are two scenarios. With zero relay inputs closed, the pump will stop or with input 3 closed it will remain stopped. I cannot get this darn pump to stop without...

Offline Chlorinator Plumbing with Pool/Spa combo

I'll DM you to ask about your setup so that I don't derail this thread. Am interested to hear.

Offline Chlorinator Plumbing with Pool/Spa combo

Thanks for the response. I have been considering the stenner option. If I went that route was thinking the Hayward Sense and Dispense or something similar. Was just looking for something a little simpler (and cheaper) for now.

Offline Chlorinator Plumbing with Pool/Spa combo

It's a Pentiar/Rainbow tab chlorinator. I've been using the liquidator for the last couple of years and am looking to have both options. At the end of the season last year, My CYA was 30-40. Beginning of this season it's at 0. Between draining some for winter and all the rain, I can only guess...

Offline Chlorinator Plumbing with Pool/Spa combo

Just thought a little more about this. If I plumb the outlet to the pool only, I risk draining the spa, albeit very slowly....... Hmm.

Offline Chlorinator Plumbing with Pool/Spa combo

Looking for recommendations on where to plumb the outlet. Inlet would go after the filter but before the heater. Was thinking that the outlet should go on the pool return, not the main return since that would over chlorinate the spa if it's on for long. However, if its on the pool only and the...

Waterway Oasis and Hayward VS 950 - Wiring Question

So, hooking up the two wires per the manual works..... kind of.... It starts the pump and does control the speed, however, it doesn't stop the pump. Adding the third wire actually starts the pump when it's off, so something isn't quite right. Suggestions?

Waterway Oasis and Hayward VS 950 - Wiring Question

I bought the Waterway Oasis automation kit with Wifi and 2 Actuators. Just getting around to installing and have one issue. The manual states that is is compatible with many VS pumps, Waterway (obviously), Jandy, Hayward and Pentair. However, for the Hayward VS pumps it shows only two wire...
