    Flow Restrictors Below Skimmer Basket?

Thank you Richard, excellent explanation and a BIG help. I'd always wondered why, when I brushed small debris down to the M.D., it was very reluctant (to say the least) to be sucked in. As shown in the picture, the diverter had been set to the full open, "probably none", position. I moved it to...

    Flow Restrictors Below Skimmer Basket?

There's, what appears to be, two adjustable flow restrictors residing below the skimmer basket. One is mounted on the under side of a removable plate and sits on the bottom of the skimmer box. It also appears to have a float valve in it presumably to block off the skimmer if the water level...

Spa Side Switch Rubber Membrane Replacement?

Thanks Paul, that's just what I was afraid of. I guess if it starts misbehaving, I can disconnect it from the AquaLink controller and live without it for a while. We're planing a major pool remodel this winter and that would be a good to replace it.

Spa Side Switch Rubber Membrane Replacement?

The switches seem to work fine but, the rubber membrane covering them is oxidized and badly cracked. I've done some searching and a replacement (for the rubber part not the whole switch) seems unavailable. If anyone has come up with a fix for this I'd sure like to hear from you. Thanks, Doug

Re: In-floor Cleaning Valve Plumbing - Please Help Me Unders I don't know if this helps any but, I've diagrammed the plumbing on the equipment pad (attached) and made my best guess as to the function of each component and the goes-intas/goes-outas. The system is managed by an AquaLink RS6. My...

Re: In-floor Cleaning Valve Plumbing - Please Help Me Unders Thanks for the replies uncfan, So are you saying that when diverted to the bottom branch of the 3-way valve it Y's into one of the pool zones to boost pressure?

In-floor Cleaning Valve Plumbing - Please Help Me Understand

Hello to everyone and thank you for this fantastic forum, I am a new, first time pool owner. The pool came with the house and it's ~15 years old. After removing some badly overgrown bushes yesterday I "unearthed" what appears to be the controller valve for the, in-floor cleaning system. The...
