how to replace Jandy pro LED nicheless

thanks for your reply, i have not done that, but let's assume i were to do that, how do you physically disconnect the light from the wire harness? I ask b/c it looks like it's a hex coupling (the black wire has a black hex shaped male piece that feels like it has knurling on it that seems to...

Filter pump appears to not be filtering

I'm happy to say my pool is crystal clear. I followed the advice here, I kept the chlorine level high and ran the filter 24 hours. I cannot believe how quickly chlorine drops in the sunlight. I guess you have to see it to believe it. Thanks for everyone's help here!

    Pump making humming noise

On the external back side of the pump, there may be a stub on the main drive shaft that you can move with a wrench. If so, move it around (disconnect power, etc. first) and if it moves, it may just be stuck. You can also open up the basket by the pump and fish around the impeller with a...

Filter pump appears to not be filtering

Thanks Kevin, is it really possible that algae is reproducing faster than it can be filtered? I just ran the filter for 24 hours and hyper chlorinated (I am truing to follow the SLAM thing but I don't have the precision test kits so I figured I'd approximate by raising chlorine super high and...

Filter pump appears to not be filtering

I have a 5 year old pool, it's a Jandy filter, and this year, I cannot seem to remove the haze from the water. A little more info - when I opened the pool, in April, a bunch of sand pumped into the pool, it turned out the bottom of the pipe that connects to the filter finger thingys broke and...

Bubbles flow seems to have lessened significantly

Hi, we got an inground pool last year with an attached spa. Earlier this year, I noticed that in the spa, the bubbles coming out of the valves completely blocked the person's legs. Yesterday, I noticed that you can now see legs and the water is not nearly as opaque from the bubbles. The...
