depending on how cool you would like to keep your pool, with our screen ove the top of the pool, ours stays around 88 wiht our summer temps. we dont feel any need for the side wall shade to keep it any cooler.. oh well yes on the west side we do have the shade since the sun obviously is hottest...

we have the intex above grn 9 x 18 and cover it with shade screen directly over it during the day. i set it up on a couple cables so i could slide it out of the way during the day when we got in the pool. we have used it for about 4-5 yrs and it definitely keeps the pool cooler than without it...

hello, i use the standard chorine tabs from costco. when we went on vacation for a month the guy , i think put too many tabs in the float and over chlorinated it. upon checking once i go home the chlorine was about 10 and i could smell it. and the pH and alkalinity were very low, they did not...

we been using it for 7 years. had to drain twice i think. how often would i add liquid chlorine? i did like the idea that the tabs provided the cya. does the liquid do so?

my ph and alk run a little low. maybe i should have been putting 3 tabs or a second float. i suspend it in the center of the pool via fishing line corner to corner.

hi thx for your help. i just checked, my FC is 3 and cya is 30. fyi, since is so hot here, when we not using during the summer, we run a shade screen over and above the pool to keep it from getting too hot. our pool temp over this summer was 90-92.

my recent test is the ratio is about even.
