We have a flagstone coping so I suppose that would require sealing. I am going to get some estimates on a SWG this week if possible. I am a little concerned about the salt taste to the water. That would be my only concern, other than the stone needing to be sealed.

I'd get the stain ID kit and see what that is. How big is the pool and do you know how old the plaster is? Does it have a heater?
