Pool volume is 27000. I used the tfp calculator and it told me to add 8 lbs of cya to raise from 0-40. I added 8 lbs yesterday and cya is good at 50 for now.

We would have to research how to do that—not sure. We were told the low levels of copper, along with chlorine, would help aid sanitation and keep all levels steady. I’ve been ignoring their advice to keep chlorine at 1.0 since that caused algae last year. I’m certainly ready to just turn it off...

We can turn the copper system all the way off and just run the pool on only chlorine. We had to do that last year because got too high.

Good to know—the company that built the pool and the pool store both said to just add slowly to skimmer and run pump on quick clean to flush quickly. I’ll try sock next time.

Sure! Granules and added very slowly to skimmer. I’m using Taylor K-2006C.
