All chemicals are balanced properly, tested them all, and water is crystal clear. I never had this problem till shortly after installing the new equiptment. I am hoping that the swg has not quit working.

yes you can put a regular pump and filter on the pool and keep your swg. I did it. I also live in nw florida and had the same issues with getting the pool clean as soon as we put on non intex equiptment the pool was crystal clear within a few hours!

I also have the new swg from intex. I have removed the black electrical connection from the top of the copper ionizer now i have to exposed posts sticking up. Is the right or should a cover them up??
