    Jandy EI Aquapure 35 leaking?

3rd time's the charm! I unthreaded it and rethreaded it, carefully ensuring that all the threads were catching correctly. I tightened it pretty good hoping I wasn't over tightening it by hand and the seal was secure. Thanks for the advice ;)

    Jandy EI Aquapure 35 leaking?

I've done what you ask, took it apart and reseated it. I noticed that when I turned it on it was flowing a lot out of the Oring section and it was not evenly seated. When I redid it I reseated it better but there still does seem to be a bit of unevenness on the seating when screwing it back on...

    Jandy EI Aquapure 35 leaking?

I cleaned out my cell for the first time yesterday when the filter was off (it had some salt buildup on the plates), came back today and the pool water level was below the basket filter line and all the water was rushing out of the SWG cell of the Jandy Aquapure. When I took the cell unit apart...

Leaf + tree debris problem? Cheaper options?

I'm not sure about the pressure ones, don't know much about em. I have a vacuum line and a separate in wall skimmer, but my main concern is I'd rather not keep it running for the 8 hours my pool filter is on every day and having to detach it from the pool would be a pain. I'd guess it would...

Leaf + tree debris problem? Cheaper options?

Yea, I saw the bubble top cover, those warm the pool though. That will be my option during the winter so I can use my pool (live in south florida) but honestly I don't want a hot pool during the heat season (spring, summer and fall :D ). I was checking the robots that scrub, honestly, not too...

Leaf + tree debris problem? Cheaper options?

I don't see a Dolphin S-1, did you mean S-100? The other cleaners you guys mentioned are good for catching debris, but I was hoping to get something that brushes too since I seem to accumulate a lot of sand from the pavers in the pool.

Leaf + tree debris problem? Cheaper options?

Yea, I've been doing it that way Dave, but if I miss a day I have to fish those leaves out from the bottom and these nets aren't great for getting smaller debris and sand at the bottom. I cringe at paying a 1k+ but I'm really not into scrubbing the pool once a week and vacuuming. Was just hoping...

Leaf + tree debris problem? Cheaper options?

Have any of you had any experience with this product? It's like the pool skim Zea mentioned but moves around to grab more items, also comes with a possible vacuum attachment for the bottom of the pool I think. It's http://skim-a-round.com/

Leaf + tree debris problem? Cheaper options?

I was reading up on this forum and it looks like everyone is suggesting robots that cost around 1k. I’m not really into spending that kind of money but I have a big problem with leaves and tree debris hitting my pool on a daily basis. On some weeks, if I let it go a week I can pull out a full...

    It does help, thanks!

New Pool, first test, I'm confused?

Ok, I've updated my signature, thanks! I get what you're saying about not being on an SWG yet but in 3 weeks when I'm on it I'll be going with the TFP recommendations. Right now, the pool math is showing me this for what the FC should be on a SWG, to me this means I should set the target for 3...

New Pool, first test, I'm confused?

Thanks for the input guys, so he came this week and dropped some bleach in but I wasn't there to witness it. He also scrubbed the pool, vacuumed the sand pit that was there, and then had his people scrub the plaster again. The streaking looks much better in some areas, still visible in others...

New Pool, first test, I'm confused?

Right, I added the scoops before adding any other reagent and it never turned pink. Instructions said to add more if it doesn't turn pink but after 6 scoops I figured it wasn't turning and gave up. So my guess was right, there's no chlorine in the water which would also explain why the water...

New Pool, first test, I'm confused?

Hi All, So my new pool has been up for about a week. I have had a LOT of sand or what looks like sand in the pool since it's been filled. Pool builder never came by to clean it up, I do have first month free on the servicing of the pool so I was hoping he would do it. Anyway, never came by so I...
