    Intex Pool PVC Plumbing

I'm doing this from my phone so hopefully the URL is correct. You can get an idea of how I plumbed in a my pump/sand filter/chlorinator. Couldn't be happier with the setup http://www.troublefreepool.com/showthread.php?t=78803 Sent from my SGSIII using Tapatalk

    Foam under intex ultra frame

I just put in a 24x52 overlap liner into my Intex ultra frame that was leaking. I drained the pool, dried the stock liner and glued down the 1/8" wall foam. Once it was smooth I put in the new liner. Comfort-wise, I love it. Makes a huge difference when walking around on it. The only issue is...

Why do some a frame ladders say "not for use with soft sided or intex" pools?

Re: Why do some a frame ladders say "not for use with soft sided or intex" pools? Probably liability if you lean the ladder against a soft sided pool and it punctures the liner.... my best guess anyway.

Installing replacement liner inside of Intex 18' metal frame

First I wanted to say thanks for all of the info so many of you left. After reading through the comments and suggestions I pulled the trigger on the new 24x52 overlap liner and we completed the install yesterday. Intex 24x52 ultra frame was leaking so I purchased this liner. Its a 24x52 25...

adding another return intex ultra frame

When I purchased my widemouth skimmer it also came with a new return jet, gaskets etc. I cut the thru-wall skimmer into the pool and use that as my primary intake. For times when the water is lower than the skimmer / or I want to vaccuum I plumbed in the lower intex hole and used it as a bypass...

16' Intex Ultra Frame Pool Deck and filter questions

It seems we are all running into this issue lately. Not to worry though, I just went through the same ordeal. We had the Intex 24x52 and replaced the entire liner with a new 25 gauge (thickness) from poolsupplies.com So far the entire process was pretty painless and the new liner looks great...

    Sand filter overkill?

Hey, I have the Intex 24x52 Ultra Frame and have been running a generic 1.5 HP pump and 220lb sand filter for almost 3 years now without ANY issue from the filtration system. Going with such a large system has worked really well for our pool. I get longer cycles between back washing with the...

Installing replacement liner inside of Intex 18' metal frame

From what I've read I don't think we need the expandable liner. I too am about to buy a liner for the 24x52 and was wondering the same thing. I think you only use the expandable with pools up to 60" -70" deep. For the Ultra Frame 24x52 I think the liner to go with is a standard overlap. Thats...

Installing replacement liner inside of Intex 18' metal frame

Hello, The previous owners of my home had a 24'x52" Intex with a wrap around deck already installed. This is our 3rd year in our home and the pool liner is beginning to go. Between the Texas sun, chlorine levels and my brush; the bottom of the liner is so thin the some of the sharper rocks that...
