I noticed there seems to be a SLAM versus a SHOCK. I just put in chlorine/bleach and then shock and run pump high for three hours, but I watched the SLAM video, and it is more like running for 24 hours and checking for high chlorine levels. Is that the difference?

Good news. Running at 1500rpm, my system seems to work fine now! I am hoping this tames my algae problem. Will keep reporting.

Okay, so I will plan to run my pool at 1500rpm continuously! Let's see if that gets rid of the cycling on and off. It is disappointing that the SVRS which is designed to protect the pump makes it too sensitive to faults

What RPM would you run? It was not doing well at 1000rpm, so maybe 1250? 1500 draws 200 watts, so I just want to think about energy usage also
