Should I change my current pump for a solar heater?

Haz I really think they did a mix and match. Which they shouldn't have. If you don't want to upgrade to a ps6 or 8 look on the back of the power center board and you may have a spare aux spot. That may be for the 6 & 8 only. This would allow you to add in another relay if you have the spare...

Should I change my current pump for a solar heater?

What is hooked up to the solar auxiliary? The actuator is a electronic valve that you can hook into your solar, return, intake or cleaner aux ports. I think the installer either doesn't know what he installed or he ripped you off. You must have talked to Denise at zodiac. I think that is her...

Should I change my current pump for a solar heater?

If you add in an actuator you won't need to upgrade to the ps6 and add in another relay. The actuator will hook into the solar port. Your system will automatically see the solar port is used. Go into scheduling and set what time you want you solar on for. Then you can setup your pump speeds. I...

Polaris pressure side cleaner tail--no brush??

The little scrubber will probably last a season if you run your cleaner year around. I replaced mine last year and decided to get the tail pro scrubber that clips on. It moves more water and keeps the tail down. I have had it for a few days and noticed it blows the dirt out from the corners alot...

Should I change my current pump for a solar heater?

Are you going to be using a actuated valve to divert the to the solar when you want to and when you don't have it just got through the filter. If so you can use the actuated valve and hook it into the solar portion in the upper left corner where it say solar, cleaner, return and intake. Then at...

I created an App to control pool equipment with smartphone

Re: I created an App to control pool equipment with smartpho If it is not getting direct sunlight you should be good. I had to move my box it gets direct sunlight for only 25% of the day if that. It was in direct sunlight most of the day and the pi was getting well over its op temp and never...

I created an App to control pool equipment with smartphone

Re: I created an App to control pool equipment with smartpho I did log in and look at it I post the last time. What a neat install and really like how you have it setup. Mine is in an old orbit sprinkler box. Saving some money to get a nice box w/ a couple of fans to combat some heat issues...

I created an App to control pool equipment with smartphone

Re: I created an App to control pool equipment with smartpho I just added a relay in my aqualink power center box to run my landscape lighting. I installed breaker that hooks the hot side into the relay and then runs out to the gfci. The transformer is plugged into the gfci so I am cutting...

Re: I created an App to control pool equipment with smartpho Kevin, What did you use to tie into your equipment to allow you to use the app you created. I have the Jandy iaqualink but I am curious what setup you used to communicate w/ the equipment. Looks good. Can't wait to see more...

Help me not murder my husband!

That is a super nice pool. Him being nonchalant about pool maintenance is going to cost you more in the long run then taking the 5 mins to test the pool. My wife knows how you feel. I deploy in the military so she is stuck doing the pool maintenance w/ a 5yr old and a newborn. We share the load...

    Power for Outdoor Speakers

Man that thing is awesome. I went w/ a raspberryPI w/ a small amp to power the two planter speakers I have. I can use my iPad to stream to it via airplay. I wish the amp had hmdi audio input but I can't complain as it is in a nice neat little package. Sent from my HTC One using Tapatalk 2
