Ditto i have similar issues with my limestone coping as well as travertine deck pavers and my pool a year old. I notice more spalling whenever it rains probably from the rain being acidic. I might try sealer to slow it down. Anyone know if that helps?

Yes, everything seems fine I think I was just dumping it too fast that the skimmer flow couldn’t keep up so it was going down that drain line and out that side drain which is connected to skimmer.( I don’t know if I’m calling everything by their correct name.)
Hi , am i adding the de mixture to skimmer too quickly? Is this normal? i had it on pool mode and switched to pool high, but it still does it. De coming out of a drain located just below skimmer.
I have a round spa and mine does same thing because of the way the returns circulate the water in my spa (in a clockwise circle). Higher pump speed definitely disguises it. Im not sure what is considered proper positioning for returns in a spa.
Good to know. I’ve noticed the limestone builders block everyone uses on their houses flakes off during freezes so yes could just be the stone they use around here.
I saw an airbnb with salt pool in buda a few years back and all of its surrounding stone patio was disintegrating - it was all just flaking off . Owner said it was from the salt system.
