I received my TFT-100 test kit recently, too. I really love how I have so much control over my chem levels now. I just find it hard to believe how people kept pools maintained in years past by throwing in a couple pucks of chlorine and testing pH once in a while.

OCLT test results 6/30 Well OCLT was only a loss of .5 ppm FC, I've got .5 cc of CC this time around, and the pool is the clearest it's been since it was put up. I really think I'm on my way and will continue to just let it filter to get it to sparkle. Will keep on top of monitoring levels and...

Well, I'm nearly there. The OCLT test today was a loss of 1.5 ppm. I did test a bit after the sun was on the pool a little because I overslept. Can I assume that I'm pretty much good? :? Even still, I brought it back up to shock level one more time. What are these things that can be suggested...

An update: I ordered a FAS-DPD test kit from TFTestKits. That way I'll have a better handle on the exact levels of chlorine. I can see the bottom of the pool after a week. I kept the FC level up as high as I could without having the accurate kit for roughly 5 days. I've been on top of it...
