Will mottle on grey plaster ever go away? I did some reading and understand the idea of why mottling takes place.(Parts of the plaster dry differently than other parts, giving the kind of light and dark areas). Back to my question , is this permanent or will the darker areas lighten up over...

Do you collect test on the pool and the jacuzzi, or do i just test the pool since it will spill over anyway's? By adding chemicals to the jacuzzi, will this offset the chemicals in the pool due to spillage into the pool?

I like the way the dark blue water looks from grey plaster, but then i like how clear blue water looks when clean with white plaster. I know that a white plaster will be better for SPECTRUM AMERLITE lighting. With grey plaster , i may have to add more lights.(17X32 6 FOOT DEEP END POOL)$$$...

I think i'm leaning towards the (Leslies Chlorine FAS-DPD Service Test Kit) I guess it seems easier for me, a new pool owner. Is this a good kit? Is it the same as the k2600?

I think i need better understanding as how to read the colors. Other test kit's come with a plastic device to compare the colors to. I was looking at the instructions and noticed that this set is very diferent compared to others, as far as the reading goes.

Dumb question, but i noticed that the k100 does not come with the plastic color gauge. How do you now what the reading is?
