11 month old pool finish fading

Our pool is about 11 months old now and the finish is fairly faded on the baja. Note the circle left by the tablrle. Is this normal due to the water being shallow and normal aging? It seems a little extreme for 1 year of time. Pool has been brushed weekly during summer/ bi weekly during winter...

Smart pool light - locating Neutral

When I tapped into the existing line/load wires and used the neutral bus on the left the light did not work. I switched the neutral to the yellow nut with 2 white wires and then when testing noticed the GFCI was tripped (granted I never saw it on before, pool is a few weeks old and I never used...

Smart pool light - locating Neutral

Yes that is the transformer. Got it.. So basically from a connection standpoint I am removing the switch, hookup up the new switch and the adding a wire from the new switch to the neutral bus, and then same thing for ground. Which is what the drawing originally detailed. Thank you.

Smart pool light - locating Neutral

Thank you! After reviewing the box again it appears that the 2 white wires going to the GFCI outlet leave me no room as i dont want 2 wires on the same screw.... 1 goes from the GFCI to the bus on the left. The other goes from the GFCI to the 120v to 12v transformer for the light. With that...

Smart pool light - locating Neutral

Thank you. That makes more sense. Luckily the metal box is about 5 feet away from the zwave receiver (with 1 exterior stucco wall). The zwave receiver on the Pi is against an exterior wall across the alley from the box. I knew there would be some interference but the 5 feet gives me hope.

Smart pool light - locating Neutral

I am replacing a regular light switch for a zwave light switch for our pool lights. The currently switch does not have a ground or a neutral wire. Does my drawing below make sense for what i need to do? What specific wire (gauge or type) should i be using for the neutral wire and then the...

New Plaster pool - Water treatment prior to SWG running

Is it possible the builder added too much of something when starting it up? Ill have to reach out to see exactly what they did. I did fail to mention that we have a deck chlorinator that was unable to be finalized at startup as there was too much shotcrete in the hole. The builder has to come...

New Plaster pool - Water treatment prior to SWG running

Thank you for your response! Pool water CH 300 ( Tested twice as the normal test method was purple before blue... When we were following the normal test steps and the method of adding 5 drops of R-0012 at the beginning, it was turning purple and staying purple before going to blue). Fill water...

New Plaster pool - Water treatment prior to SWG running

Hi All, Build details in signature. We have a new build that we filled with water March 2nd 2022. The builder came out and did the mechanical startup, added initial chemicals, and orientation shortly after. On March 7th the builder said in 30-40 days they were going to come out and start the...
