I guess I should of mentioned that but yes the cell is horizontal but the one way check valve is vertical.

I do have pics but I have to resize them as I took them using my phone. Well that would explain why I'm on my 3rd cell.....I installed it just like they did in the showroom where I bought the pool. When I pick up the cell which they are covering I'm going to mention it to them.....UNBELIEVABLE...

I have a check valve that's connected to my cell (Zodiac LM2) it's in the vertical position which I installed based on the showroom where I had bought the pool but the manual says not to do this and I am curious as to why? I'm assuming the valve won't shut properly?

Before it crapped out on me I believe with a clean filter it was somewhere in the range 8 to 10 PSI. (Another on my part to replace list) I will do a mock up of my set up in my basement and take some pics

Ya your right it would but its February and there's snow on the ground and everything is in my basement. I suppose I could do a mock set up so ppl get a rough idea?

Ill try and make this as short as possible. I'm a fairly new AG pool owner (24Ft) with a Zodiac salt system (I believe the cell is the LM2 series) so last spring opened the pool set everything up no problem prime the pump turn it on and with in 15 seconds the cell cracks and water is gushing...
