    SWG vs non SWG

    I did both flagstone and swg. If I could only choose one or the other, I would choose a SWG. It make maintenance and water balancing so easy.

    Not an expert, but I would patch the concrete myself and then get some more liner installation bids.

    My coping was done before the tile. Everything looks level and they didn't seem to have any issues doing it in that order.

    with our electric rates so low, i would get a dual speed pump and not a variable speed. i don't think your savings will make up the difference in cost.

    If I was in your shoes, I would have it broken up and completely redone. It will be a pain, but in the end you will get what you originally wanted. Be thankful you have a standup pool builder. Many would just try patch jobs and call it done.

    Recommend asking your PB to use Pentair Intellibright LED lights instead of Hayward. Several have reported those going out after five years or so.
