I love living in Texas because of the warm weather. I'm recently married and thinking of retiring in 3 years. I love swimming and being in my pool. My family had a pool when I was young and having a pool now gives me warm and happy thoughts of my childhood. I had my pool built in 2005, but I am now seeing some stains. I use to take care of my pool myself, but now have a weekly service. I am concerned because the stains are still there. I found this site while I was researching what to do with my pool problem and from reading the first section, it looks like I will be taking care of my pool again, instead of using a service.

I am also thinking of selling and moving from our existing home and building another house on our property. I would love to have another pool built but my husband isn't very excited about another pool because of the cost of maintenance and electric bills. My job is to convince him otherwise. My current pool is 35' x 15' and has a raised hot tub on the end.
