I thought I read where you should leave it on winterize because took tension off of the spring in the handle.

What setting do I put the pump on when blowing out the lines? And then what setting do I leave it on for the winter. My pump has: Backwash, test, drain, Filter, rinse, winterize, and whirlpool. Thanks
