Hi! I found a good deal on CDS Liquid Chlorine at Rural King ($14.99 for a case of 4) Is CDS a reliable brand? If so, can anyone help me with the date code?

I assume when you say come loose you mean a significant gap. The dump flap shouldn't have an airtight seal, right? There's not a huge gap between the flap and vacuum but I wouldn't consider it an air-tight seal either.

Ouch. That's crazy. And the motor box can be bad even if the pool is moving around correctly? 4 years seems like a crazy short life for a pool vacuum only used 4 months a year.

Thanks for your quick replies! The dump flap is working. I had a lot of hair around the impeller so I was hopeful that would fix it. Unfortunately it did not. I guess I'll have to take it to a professional.

Hi! Love this group and all the money you've saved me maintaining my pool. We have a Maytronics Dolphin robotic pool cleaner - purchased in 2019. It appears to be operating correctly as far as moving around the pool, but there doesn't appear to be any suction. It was definitely picking things up...
