    Baby safety fence - Help?

They said they would let me know the maufacturer, but havent yet. I feel bad nagging when they are loaning it to us, but perhaps I will ask if I can pick up this weekend and I can push it slightly then. I have one section, but dont see any markings on it.

    Baby safety fence - Help?

We got a quote for a safety fence. The guy suggested just putting the fence along our patio area which would block the baby's access from house. He sid we needed 40ft and the quote was $1375 not including an open close gate. Now our neighbor has offered to let us use their fence. But I noticed...

Help me not murder my husband!

Lol! I decided to give him a reprieve. Actually he's been doing pretty well with it - he did all the vacuuming and back washing and clears the skimmers. I just do the testing so I know where we're at!

Help me not murder my husband!

Did the overnight test. Last night we tested 2 hrs after we added chlorine and it was 8 FC. This morning we tested and it was 7. So that's better right? Do we need to keep shocking or are we done?

No we haven't. I haven't tested the last 2 nights though. Couldn't deal with the rain yesterday!! I will go out and test again tonight a few hours after we added the chlorine and I'll retest first thing and see how it's looking.

I think it looks pretty good? We just vacuumed today which it needed badly. The problem is that we have some stains and discoloration so it never looks perfect. I would say it's crystal clear but only sparkles when we have the waterfall on.

Help me not murder my husband!

This evening's test results: FC: 4.5 CC: 0 TC: 4.5 TA: 80 (it never changed color at all after 8 drops but was never red, only dark pink). CH: 220 PH: 7.4 CYA: between 20 and 30 (closer to 20) but we still have CYA dissolving in a sock. This is the first time ever we have managed to get any...

Help me not murder my husband!

Well this is odd - last night FC was 8, this morning it's 9. So now it's going up overnight? So weird.

FC was 5.5 this morning CC: 0.5 TC: 6 So we're still losing too much overnight and haven't been able to add more chlorine. Hopefully the CYA will soon kick in!

FC was 8 when I tested PH. In the continuing comedy of errors I'm unable to add chlorine because neither of us can open the can and we don't have one of those huge pair of pliers to open it. Bwahahahahaha. Nothing's ever easy.

I still have to work out what that means and as I am jot sure of the gallons in the pool it makes life really difficult. I know I should add chlorine tonight, but no idea how much. Looks like the PH is at 7.2 so that's good right?

FC: 8 CC: 0 TC: 8 The CYA gives off a cloudy white when I squeeze the socks. Is this normal/ ok??

This morning's chlorine reading. FC: 9.5 CC: 0 (but we have to still have algae). TC: 9.5 It doesn't look like any of the CYA has dissolved at all. Maybe the socks are too thick. May need to rethink.
